This week Royal Dutch/Shell cut their reserves again (second time this year). The last time they lost $67 Billion in estimated future revenue. This restatement was smaller, about 10 percent of the last one. There is again talk of insider trading and the possibility that the leaders knew about it in 2002.

How do you really stand with a straight face and say, "Oops, that $70 Billion in assets on the books was just a mistake?"
