another weekend disappeared

Friday after work I pulled down one of our larger buckthorn trees (5in diameter) using the tow straps and boat winch. Most of it will just be burnt as brush, but there is some of it which will be worthwhile for fire wood.
Yesterday was spent doing little things around the house and yard, then we visited with some friends in a socially distanced manner in the afternoon. Yesterday afternoon it was actually uncomfortably cool in the shade. A taste of things to come.
Sunday morning we did a two mile walk along the road to start the day. Then I cleaned up the rest of the buckthorn from Friday and dropped the other half of the dead ash tree from last weekend. I got that all cut up, but didn't split it because I'm trying to take it easy on my still painful wrist/hand. Derien cleaned up all the small limbs, twigs, and leaves. This afternoon I replaced the radiator and the two radiator hoses in the van. Still have to refill the cooling system and pressure test it, but at least all the parts are in place.
