Took the day off Friday with the intention of getting things done and burning some vacation time which I'll lose otherwise. Succeeded in doing the latter. Not so much the former. It took me a while to get outside and almost as soon as I did it started raining. I did some little stuff around the house, but it wasn't a very productive day. We did arrange winter quarters for the van, which is good to get out of the way.

Saturday was not as productive a day as I might have liked. I got frustrated working on the van so I switched to working on processing the big ash laying on the lawn. Did some clipping, some piling, some splitting. The only thing I got finished was the cutting, all the big rounds are now cut. I also got twigs which were in the barn cut to length for bundling (that will be fire starter for 2 winters from now).

Today was more productive. Started with working on the tree: split, stacked, raked up debris. There is still a lot to go, but the amount of lawn covered in tree bits is significantly reduced. I have split almost all of the moderate sized rounds and have started working on the big ones. It's hard to split rounds which are close to 3ft in diameter, they just don't want to start. This afternoon I worked on putting the van back together. I just have to do the final tightening on 4 bolts and I'll have the front suspension reassembled. Then I have to bleed the front passenger brake and make sure it works. Then fill the coolant, bleed it, and make sure nothing leaks. Oh, and I've still got to change the oil. The list is never ending.

Tuesday the new heavy duty sway bar and down links should arrive. That will mean some more disassembly, but it'll be good to get the heavier bar on before the alignment gets done.
