I was going through some old files and found some filks. Many of the references may be lost on those who don't work in technology or didn't work in the company that I worked for at the time of the writing. They are in no particular order.

"Washburn took HarvardNet,
Southworth took a nap.
Templeton he sent our network black!
and Newman over lunch one day,
took his crew with all hands,
apparently to make him put it back."
--- Black Hole "Get Your Filthy Hands of My Network"

"Sometime from now you'll know the pressure
some things you cannot sell like blue jeans.
I'm between the collo and the adjacents
don't send no consultant to help me please
unless he speaks Perl
and can route like a banshee.
What if I was only routing IPs,
What if I was UUNET, it's no mess
Maybe I'm just looking for
something to work with."
---Not Michael Penn "No Mess"

"Can't route him, but don't dare to tell him,
don't have a router, routers you have to buy,
can't ignore him, no call, call, calls all the time.
..."
---done to the tune of "She's Going" by the English Beat

"ayah, uhu, Chris and Rodgers, ago talk,
cummon everybody, mek 'dem things run,
we all get together and route as one,
give dis yah router strictly to de notion
that OSPF it's is your best ration.
Cause meh him Routing Rodgers seh him really really small
Cause him Cranking Chris he really know it all.
We both get together and we bring up dem all.
And when we take a stop even Aaron can fall.
Ayah uhu Chris and Rodgers ago talk (right)"
--- The Non-English Beat

"you'll be up in an hour,
take half a month to get there, oops,
routing hole, losing all power,
say I'm bored if I could.
I'll get packets in heaven,
There'll be no routing loops there.
I can't wait, I can't wait,
'til it's over."
---The Replacement Router "Can't Hardly Wait ('Til it's Over)"
