Last night while working traffic duty as a volunteer fireman Jim, part-time security rover at my company, was struck by a vehicle and run over. He died today as a result of his injuries. He was a young and active 67.

Jim leaves behind family, fishing buddies, and countless people who knew his kind, friendly nature. He always had a smile and a story for everyone. He will be sorely missed, not for one huge accomplishment, but in a million little ways that made up a great life.

Jim, I hope wherever you are the fish are biting and mosquitoes are a vague memory.
