geek household

You know you're in a geek household when you happen to channel surf to a Nova about airplanes and everyone, including the cat, stays motionless until the show is over. Once the show is over the cat stays motionless, she's a cat afterall, one biped curls up with a book, the other with a computer. Quality time geek style.

I must conclude if I ever want to pointedly not talk to derien I'll have to make sure she doesn't have any books handy. Otherwise she might never notice.
