Sep. 30th, 2004 07:47 pmColder weather means tea and hot chocolate. There are few things more comforting than a nice cup of hot chocolate. It makes me want to curl up in a chair with a nice book and while away the long night.
Our state rep stopped by the apartment this evening. Yes, he stopped by in person. Last year I specifically remembered the names of politicians who had automated war dialers calling the house at all hours. I didn't vote for them. But this guy actually walked and knocked. He apologized for any interruption and kept it brief. He's running on a basic democratic pitch (environment, poor, tolerance) so I'll be happy to reward his personal touch with a vote.
"Everybody says they want a million bucks,
but I'd rather have a million days with you."
