reading "Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life"

I finished the last story in "Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life" this evening. This collection shares two stories in common with "Kiss, Kiss", alas. This group of short stories takes place in a common universe based on Dahl's life in postwar England. Some of the stories are downright creepy and all show the trademark Dahl grit of life. The characters are drawn with humor and affection.
