So all summer I traded my formal exercise program with nice hourish long chunks in for pushing around the mower, pushing around the wheelbarrow, dragging brush, splitting wood, and various other outdoor activities. It's not the same. It's not as regular and methodical, but sometimes it's significantly more vigorous. Since the days have started getting too short to get significant time outside in the daylight, I've started on the indoor exercise program again. Although I'm intentionally starting out a little easier than I left off (5 degree grade on the treadmill), I'm doing longer segments than I left off with and I'm having no problem with the difficulty.
