reading (The Hobbit)

eorI finished "The Hobbit" on Friday evening. I enjoyed the book, although I didn't find it as captivating as "The Lord of the Rings". I like the fact that there are downsides to the adventure, that everything doesn't turn out absolutely happy, it tempers the rest of the book.
I was surprised how much Bilbo's big find plays in the story. One would think that everyone in that part of the world knew about it by the time this adventure was done.
