I was quite surprised to be able to get all the crushed stone into the basement yesterday. Seven yards is a lot of shovelfuls! Of course, I didn't do it alone. If I'd had to do it alone, it would have certainly taken me three days. This morning I was sore pretty much all over and my right arm is giving me a bit of a problem. But moving around and doing little things this morning helped to keep the muscles relatively loose. We went down to the basement and did a fair amount of moving the gravel around in the early afternoon. Still have a lot of that to do, but there really isn't any huge hurry on it. Each bit that gets done makes the basement cleaner and drier.

It's funny because I feel just getting the stone in is such a huge accomplishment, but saying it doesn't sound like a huge accomplishment. I mean, "moved stone" isn't any harder than "did laundry" is it? Yeah, it is.
